Former WWE employee Janel Grant has publicly spoken for the first time since it was confirmed that her lawsuit against ex-WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was moved out of federal court and into private arbitration. The legal dispute, which had remained in the public eye since Grant filed her lawsuit in 2024, said that it will be resolved through confidential arbitration after all parties reached an agreement. This move marks a procedural shift; however, it doesn’t resolve the underlying allegations made in the case. Following the move to private arbitration, Grant released an emotional statement on social media, thanking and acknowledging the support she has received throughout the legal process.

Janel Grant has finally broken her silence after the Vince McMahon lawsuit moved to private arbitration from the federal court. Following the announcement, Grant released an emotional statement through her social media, thanking and acknowledging her supporters, who have stood by her throughout the legal battle. Janel did not address the legal battle but admitted that she has been constantly struggling. In her emotional post, she thanked her supporters for continuing to check in on her and encouraged people to continue reaching out, saying that messages of support have helped her come out through this difficult period. In a post shared on Instagram, Janel stated, “It happened to be a perfect storm of everything and all at once. Thank you for checking in with me and for your patience.” She also acknowledged the messages she has received throughout her difficult times and how she is constantly struggling to keep her fight on. “These profound and meaningful exchanges have helped me feel less alone. I believe that making a difference in the world begins with how we show up in it. I have been outside 5 times this year. But here I am. And I’m still showing up to be part of the solution,” Janel Grant stated.Meanwhile, the federal lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant against chairman Vince McMahon and WWE has now moved out of the public court system, and both parties have agreed to file for confidential arbitration. The decision came after the joint motion was filed ahead of a June 16 hearing on competing motions.Following this, the lawsuit from the federal court will be dismissed shortly, while Grant’s claims and defenses will still be able to be pursued in the arbitration process. Under the agreement, all remaining claims will be handled through confidential arbitration rather than in open court. It is to be noted that the lawsuit, originally filed in January 2024, accuses McMahon of sexual assault, sex trafficking, and coercion during Grant’s time as a WWE employee. McMahon has repeatedly denied the allegations, while WWE has also denied wrongdoing.

Is former WWE chairman Vince McMahon planning to join WWE amid his legal battle?

Speculation surrounding Vince McMahon’s future in WWE has resurfaced after his lawsuit with former employee Janel Grant was moved from federal court to confidential arbitration. This prompted rumors about whether the former chairman would return to the company now.The discussion actually gained momentum after Dave Meltzer claimed that it would not shock him if he were brought back in this position. Though he didn’t say it with utter conviction, he said it wouldn’t shock him if he decided to return. He was not stating it as an expectation but rather as a possibility. He also suggested that if McMahon ever returns to WWE, it wouldn’t be a meaningful position, because he would not replace President Nick Khan or shift Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, his son-in-law.Even, during a podcast, Jim Ross was asked whether McMahon could ever work with Tony Khan in AEW. Jim Ross quickly dismissed the idea and suggested that Tony Khan will not be interested in bringing McMahon into AEW.McMahon had retired from WWE in July 2022 after the hush money scandal arose. He later returned as an executive chairman in 2023, overseeing Endeavor’s acquisition. But following Janel Grant’s lawsuit, he resigned from the company in January 2024.
