Anti-aging influencer and tech millionaire Bryan Johnson is urging the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, to reconsider their life priorities, offering pointed health advice to the tech mogul by stating that human survival should supersede financial gain. Appearing in an interview on The Axios Show, the 49-year-old entrepreneur, who reportedly spends upwards of $2 million each year in a quest to reverse biological aging, stated that society is approaching a turning point where wellness will outshine net worth. When asked what counsel he would share with Musk, Johnson expressed a desire to see the Tesla and SpaceX chief look after his physical wellbeing so he can reap the rewards of his labour:“I hope Elon would clean up his health. I mean, he’s worked so hard. He has a lot of potential to enjoy what he’s built,” Johnson said, as per Axios.Johnson also noted that he would welcome the opportunity to help President Donald Trump with his physical health, adding that world leaders frequently reach out to him for guidance and that he regularly participates in group chats with prominent tech executives and influencers.

Shifting from wealth to ‘Don’t Die’

Johnson envisions a cultural transition away from traditional financial success toward his personal longevity mantra, dubbed “Don’t Die”. His ultimate benchmark for success is whether future civilisations look back favorably on his pioneer work:“Will the 25th century … be like, ‘thank you’ in 500 years? Will they give me a head nod? That’s the goal,” Johnson remarked. “Society says making money … is the greatest trophy one can get … we are at this inflection moment as a species where we are transitioning to ‘Don’t Die.’ What creates status and power and prestige is going to be different. And as crazy as it sounds, it may be your nighttime erections … It may be your ability to dunk a basketball at age 49.”To guide his pursuit of biological youth, Johnson has turned his home into an advanced testing facility and gathered an enormous digital record of his bodily functions. Backed by wearables, a dedicated concierge medical squad and home diagnostic suites, Johnson is said to have amassed over 4.2 billion individual data points concerning his physiology, deploying AI software to detect trends and draw actionable conclusions. In 2023, Johnson famously swapped blood plasma with his teenage son. While the experiment benefited his elderly father, Johnson discontinued it for himself after tests indicated his biomarkers were already equivalent to an 18-year-old’s.Johnson openly documents intimate metrics with his 8 million social media followers, sharing updates on everything from sperm vitality to nocturnal erections.
