The 9th & Van Brunt Soccer League was designed to give children an opportunity to experience the game without the cost often tied to organised sports. Set to begin on July 11, the programme targeted children aged 8 to 10, with organisers expecting around 120 participants during the summer.For families in the Northeast neighbourhood, the league offered more than a chance to play. Accessible youth sports can help children build confidence, learn teamwork and form connections with peers.
