MYSURU: A video purportedly showing a man riding a two-wheeler with seven children seated in a metal basket attached to the rear of the vehicle has sparked concern over road safety in Karnataka. A total of eight people, including the rider, can be seen on the two-wheeler.The footage, captured by a TOI photojournalist, shows the man riding with six children packed into a metal basket-like structure fixed to the rear of the vehicle. Another child appears to be seated in front of the rider.The rider can be seen wearing a helmet, while none of the children appear to be wearing any protective gear.The incident was recorded on the Mysuru-Nanjangud RoadThe video has since drawn reactions on social media, with users expressing concern over the apparent risks involved in carrying multiple children on a two-wheeler in such a manner.One user described the act as “bloody dangerous”, while another called for strict action against those using such unsafe methods.
