Kolkata Police arrested Abu Zafar, the leaseholder of Hotel Shikha Inn.
KOLKATA: The leaseholder of Hotel Shikha Inn, where a fire broke out on Thursday, has been arrested, Kolkata Police said. Abu Zafar was arrested from Entally Main Market on Wednesday.Police also detained two hotel staff members for questioning as part of the investigation into the fire.The blaze at Hotel Shikha Inn prompted a police probe into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Investigators are questioning those associated with the hotel and examining the circumstances that led to the fire.Police are also likely to ascertain whether safety protocols were followed at the hotel and whether there were any lapses in fire-safety arrangements.
