The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra will declare the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2026 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 1 seat allotment result today, August 2, on its official website. Candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) courses offered by participating engineering colleges across Maharashtra will be able to check their allotment status by logging in with their application ID and password. The seat allotment has been prepared based on the candidate’s MHT CET score, category, reservation rules, option form preferences and seat availability.Important dates:

What after the seat allotment result?
Candidates who receive a seat in CAP Round 1 will have to accept the allotted seat online, pay the required admission fee and report to the allotted institute between August 3 and August 5, 2026 with the required original documents. After the completion of Round 1 admissions, the CET Cell will publish the list of vacant seats for CAP Round 2 on August 6, while the option entry process for the next round will be held from August 7 to August 9, 2026.
