The recently released trailer of Nitesh Tiwari‘s ‘Ramayana-The Introduction’ has been receiving appreciation from several celebrities, and the latest to join the list is ‘Kantara’ star Rishab Shetty.The actor-director took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts on the trailer. He praised the film’s visuals, performances and the effort that has gone into adapting one of India’s most celebrated epics for the big screen.
Rishab Shetty says it’s not easy to convince people
Sharing his reaction, Rishab applauded director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra for creating what he described as a convincing cinematic world. He wrote, “It’s not easy to convince people with the stories and characters of our epics. We have all grown up listening to them, and each of us carries our own imagination of these timeless legends. Hats off to the team for creating such an incredibly convincing world. @niteshtiwari22 @malhotra_namit, take a bow (sic).”
Rishab Shetty praises the cast and music
The actor further spoke about the responsibility performers carry while portraying iconic mythological figures.He wrote, “I can relate to the pressure an actor feels while portraying such iconic characters. What a phenomenal score.”Besides appreciating the actors, Rishab also praised composers A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer for elevating the emotions of the trailer through their music.
Special mention for Ranbir Kapoor and Yash
Rishab reserved his biggest praise for Ranbir Kapoor, who portrays Lord Rama, and Yash, who plays Raavana in the film.His post read, “#RanbirKapoor, brother, you made us truly feel the aura and divinity of Rama. @TheNameIsYash sir, my eyes grew bigger and bigger with every shot of yours. I don’t think anyone else could have done justice to that character. I am running short of words to tell more about your brilliant performance but one thing, as a kannadiga you have always made us feel proud.”
