Surgeries at AIIMS in New Delhi repaired her facial wounds. She was later shifted to Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital in Mumbai, but her eyesight couldn’t be restored.<span class="id-r-component br" data-pos="13"/>Despite the setback, Insha rebuilt her life. She learnt Braille, mobility skills and computer applications.
