‘Help dislodge BJP from power in Bihar’: Tej Pratap makes ‘special appeal’ to CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke | Delhi News
NEW DELHI: Former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav on Saturday appealed to Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke to visit Bihar and help launch a movement against the BJP-led state government headed by Samrat Choudhary.The appeal came shortly after the CJP withdrew its protest in Delhi following the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET paper leak.In a post on social media, Yadav said, “I, Tej Pratap Yadav, make this special appeal to Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janata Party, that he come immediately to the land of Bihar.”Yadav, who floated the Janshakti Janata Dal after being expelled from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) by his father Lalu Prasad, made the appeal hours after he was detained by police while supporting a Bihar bandh called by Left-wing students’ unions.

Referring to the “current political situation” in Bihar, Yadav said there was a need for a “robust and strong people’s movement” that could “uproot and throw out the government of Samrat Choudhary”.Tagging the CJP, Samrat Choudhary and the BJP’s Bihar unit in his post, Yadav also promised “full and unwavering support of my Janshakti Janata Dal in this fight for change”.Meanwhile, a video circulating on social media shows Dipke responding to a supporter at the Jantar Mantar protest who urged him to visit Bihar.In the video, a young woman asks Dipke to come to the state, saying “an uneducated chief minister Samrat Choudhary is ruining the education system”.Responding to the request, Dipke says, “I assure you that once we are through with the ongoing protests, the next event of Cockroach Janata Party shall be held in Patna.”
