AAI recruitment 2026: Notification released for 389 Manager, Junior Executive posts; registration begins on this date
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has released the recruitment notification for 389 Manager and Junior Executive posts in different disciplines. The online application process will begin on August 8, and eligible candidates can apply through the official website, aai.aero, till September 7, 2026.The recruitment drive includes vacancies for Manager posts in civil engineering, electrical engineering, finance, information technology, architecture, law, fire services, operations, commercial, corporate planning and management services, and corporate communications. Junior Executive posts are available in finance, law, operations, and survey and cartography.
AAI recruitment 2026 : Vacancies
AAI has announced a total of 389 vacancies, including 260 Manager posts and 129 Junior Executive posts.The highest number of vacancies is for Manager (Engineering-Civil) with 145 posts, followed by Junior Executive (Operations) with 79 vacancies.
AAI recruitment 2026: Selection process
Candidates will be selected through a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The exam date will be announced later on the official website.As per the notification, the CBT will consist of objective-type questions and there will be no negative marking.Candidates shortlisted for Manager posts will also have to appear for document verification and an interview. Those applying for Manager (Fire Services) will additionally undergo physical measurement, driving and physical endurance tests.
Eligibility and age limit
The maximum age limit is 32 years for Manager posts and 27 years for Junior Executive posts, as on September 7, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates according to government rules.Candidates applying for Manager posts must have the required educational qualification along with three years of relevant post-qualification work experience. No prior work experience is required for Junior Executive posts. The educational qualification differs depending on the post.
AAI recruitment 2026: Salary
Selected candidates for Manager posts will receive a pay scale of Rs 60,000 to Rs 1,80,000, while Junior Executives will receive Rs 40,000 to Rs 1,40,000.According to AAI, the approximate annual Cost to Company (CTC) is Rs 21 lakh for Managers and Rs 14 lakh for Junior Executives, along with applicable allowances and other benefits.AAI has asked candidates to submit applications only through the online mode available on its official website. Those who wish to apply for more than one post must complete separate registrations and pay the application fee separately for each post.
