The Great Indian Kapil Show 5: Kapil Sharma takes a dig at Anup Soni as Ajay Devgn replaces him on Crime Patrol; says ‘Aap sabko bolte the Savdhaan raho…’
The Great Indian Kapil Show recently returned with season 5 and the latest episode welcomed the cast of The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest. Actors Sidharth Malhotra, Tamannaah Bhatia, Shweta Tiwari, Anup Soni and Maniesh Paul joined Kapil Sharma for a fun episode. While welcoming Anup Soni, host Kapil Sharma was seen pulling his leg over Ajay Devgn replacing him as the host for Crime Patrol. As soon as Anup Soni met Kapil Sharma, the comedian asked him about the replacement. He said, “Mujhe Soni sahab ke baare mein baat karni hai, aapne dekha hai, humesha ye aapko bolte hue sunayi denge, savdhaan rahiye, satark rahiye. Aapki savdhaani uss samay kahan chali gayi thi jab Ajay Devgn sahab aapke chaar episodes, karke chale gaye..” (I want to talk about Soni sahab. We’ve always heard you say, “Stay alert and stay vigilent”. Where was your alertness when Ajay Devgn sahab did four episodes before you?) Kapil’s joke left everyone in splits of laughter.Anup Soni’s instantly corrected Kapil and revealed that Ajay Devgn is hosting not four but 15 episodes of Crime Patrol. Kapil asked, “Unka toh accha chal raha hai, unko kya zarurat padi.”For the uninitiated, Ajay Devgn was announced as the new host of Crime Patrol earlier this week. He has already filmed 15 episodes for the upcoming season, Crime Patrol 2026 – Crime Ka Current Season, premiered on August 31.During the episode, Kapil and the cast of Vvaan shared spooky stories. Sidharth Malhotra, who grew up in Delhi, recalled how every neighbourhood seemed to have that one infamous haunted house. He shared how stories of strange noises and mysterious incidents surrounding a house near where he played hide-and-seek would leave children terrified.Maniesh Paul, meanwhile, admitted that he is genuinely scared of ghosts and even sleeps with the lights on. He left everyone in splits with a spooky yet hilarious story about his daughter repeatedly claiming there was an “aunty” sitting in the room with them when she was younger.
