Taylor Swift’s connection to Beverly Hills real estate is back in the spotlight, with the sprawling estate she once called home now on the market for $7,995,000.Swift purchased the historic Pillsbury Estate in 2011 and went on to write her acclaimed pop album 1989 at the property. The 1.5-acre mini-compound has now been listed by its current owners, fashion designer Nicolas Bijan and interior designer Roxy Bijan.Built for the Pillsbury family in 1941, the Beverly Hills estate features a four-bedroom, five-bathroom layout spread across a three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom main residence and a one-bedroom, one-bathroom guest house.The property also boasts a motor court with room for eight cars, more than a dozen mature live oak trees and a pickleball court.The Bijans purchased the estate from Swift in an off-market transaction in 2018. Since then, they have undertaken significant renovations throughout the home, giving the historic property a more contemporary look while retaining elements of its original character.Their stylish transformation even caught the attention of Architectural Digest, which featured the residence in 2021.

Swifties may also recognize the property from Swift’s famous Vogue “73 Questions” video interview.For Nicolas Bijan, the home’s creative history was one of its most appealing qualities. He recalled discovering a beautiful piano in the home office when he and Roxy moved in.“When we moved in, there was a beautiful piano in the home office. I couldn’t help but be inspired by what had happened in that room,” Bijan told Page Six Hollywood.He revealed that he subsequently launched his fashion brand, NB44, from the same space.“You can tell beautiful things have happened here. I hope the next person that lives there will feel creatively inspired,” he added.

The property has also played an important role in the Bijans’ personal lives. The couple married at the estate in 2020 after their planned Lake Como wedding was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.They have since started a family and welcomed two children.

Despite the extensive renovations and the couple’s own design choices, one notable reminder of Swift’s time at the property remains in the garden.An olive tree planted by Swift’s former boyfriend, DJ Calvin Harris, is still standing on the estate. The tree now sits among Roxy Bijan’s hot-pink roses, creating one of the few visible links to the property’s past as Swift’s Beverly Hills home.With its celebrity history, expansive grounds and extensive renovations, the Pillsbury Estate is once again seeking a new owner – nearly a decade after Swift sold the property to the Bijans.
