Former footballer Thierry Henry has put his New York penthouse on the market for $25 million, more than 16 years after he and his partner Andrea Rajacic bought the property for $14.85 million.Henry bought the penthouse and the unit below it in SoHo in 2010, when he was preparing to move from Barcelona to New York to play for the New York Red Bulls, according to Irish Examiner. The couple later combined the two units, creating an expanded home of roughly 6,000 square feet.The property also has around 3,400 square feet of outdoor space, including a private rooftop. The kitchen opens directly onto a roughly 980-square-foot terrace, while the rooftop has a pergola, a barbecue area and space for outdoor dining and lounging.The home at 39 Crosby Street is now listed through Sotheby’s International Realty. The StreetEasy listing puts the property at 6,086 square feet, with 17 rooms, five bedrooms and more than five bathrooms. It is being offered as a condominium for $25 million.
Henry and Rajacic found the home in 2010
Henry and Rajacic spent a full day looking at homes in Manhattan during the summer of 2010. At the time, the couple was living in Spain and Henry was preparing for his move from Barcelona to New York.They looked at several properties but did not find one they wanted. Their real-estate agent then suggested that they see one more place, a SoHo penthouse with rooftop views of the Brooklyn and Williamsburg bridges.Rajacic recalled that they immediately liked the property. “I remember walking around the apartment, and Thierry discreetly pulled me to the side, and he was like, ‘Andrea, close your mouth, they don’t need to know how much we both like it,’” she said. Henry agreed with her memory, saying, “That’s true.”The couple eventually bought the penthouse and the unit below it for $14.85 million. They combined the lower unit with the penthouse, creating the larger home that is now on the market.
The couple renovated the property several times
After combining the two units, Henry and Rajacic continued to make changes to the home. The property was renovated several times, with the most recent renovation taking place in 2026.The private rooftop was also developed as part of the home. It includes a pergola, a barbecue area and outdoor spaces for eating and relaxing.

The property has views of the Brooklyn and Williamsburg bridges. It has five bedrooms and more than five bathrooms, along with 17 rooms.The property is part of a condominium building at 425 Broome Street. The building has 13 units, is seven storeys tall and dates to 1874.
Henry had tried to sell it before
Although the property is now listed for $25 million, this is not the first time Henry and Rajacic have tried to sell it.The home was listed for $26.75 million in February 2025. According to the StreetEasy property history, it was temporarily taken off the market in June 2025 and was no longer available in September. It was later delisted in October 2025.The couple had previously decided against selling because of their attachment to the New York home. They had continued to keep the property even though their visits became less frequent. “No matter where we were coming back from, that was always where I was really dying to return to,” Rajacic said.That attachment also played a role in their decision to remove the home from the market after the earlier listing. “We were and still are in love with the place,” Henry said. “It was very difficult to leave New York.”
SoHo home now listed for $25 million
The penthouse is located on a cobblestone street in SoHo that, according to listing agent Joshua Judge of Sotheby’s International Realty, has also been home to celebrities including Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz.Judge said a penthouse on the same street sold for $28.25 million in August. He also said the record home sale in SoHo stands at $50 million, set in 2023.The current listing was posted on September 22, 2026, for $25 million. The StreetEasy listing shows no price changes since then.
