Iran’s central command said any US attack would be retaliated ‘without any limitations or considerations’ after it was informed that the country and its regional allies were preparing to resume actions against Tehran.Tehran warned that the regional countries supporting the US against Iran would be considered parties to the conflict, state media reported.The statement comes after Iran conveyed its seven truce conditions to the US through Qatari mediators, warning closure of Hormuz and a “decisive war” if Washington rejects its demands.Iranian Parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said the country must pursue both military action and negotiations at the appropriate time.“We believe that the duality of war or negotiation is not real, but that we must both fight and negotiate. We must fight sensibly and decisively and negotiate with authority and rationality at the right time”, Ghalibaf said While addressing the Iranian Parliament.He said Iran’s diplomatic positions were “completely clear, rational, and non-negotiable”, adding that Tehran’s conditions had been conveyed to the other side through mediators.“The enemy knows very well that the path of deception and unilateral imposition is closed,” Ghalibaf said.According to Al Jazeera, Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s supreme national security council, Tehran was awaiting US President Donald Trump’s response.On Sunday, Pakistan’s interior minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Tehran and met senior Iranian officials to discuss bilateral relations between the two neighbouring countries.Ahead of his visit, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said there were currently “no signs of a message or proposal” from the United States being conveyed through Naqvi. Al Jazeera reported.“It is natural for Pakistan, as a mediator in the region, to find opportunities to discuss regional issues.
