As per reports, Siddharth Jawahar is a 38 year old investment advisor who ran a Texas-based investment company called Swiftarc Capital LLC.While it has not been confirmed, there are reports that indicate that Siddharth Jawahar, who is from India, has been in the U.S. illegally since 2005.As per reports, Siddharth Jawahar has reportedly taken more $35 million from Swiftarc investors but invested only about $10 million.The rest of the funds were reportedly used to fund his lavish lifestyle in New York City, including travel on private jets, stays at luxury hotels, memberships at multiple private clubs across the country, spending thousands of dollars at clothing stores and expensive outings at fancy restaurants,In a statement by the U.S. attorney, Siddharth Jawahar “tried to obstruct justice by trying to coach a victim into giving a favorable statement to the FBI, lying about his immigration status and finances and trying to get his sister to remotely wipe his iPhone to hide evidence.”The statement added, “When the value of PMP declined, Jawahar did not tell investors and falsely claimed that his investors were making profits…”
