Bonnie Kay Haydon, the former mother-in-law of Donald Trump Jr., has listed her luxury condo in Southampton, New York, for $3.75 million, nearly three years after purchasing the property for $2.5 million.Haydon, 80, is the mother of Vanessa Trump, who was married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 until their divorce. According to property records cited by Mansion Global, Haydon purchased the Southampton condo in 2023 and had previously offered it as a rental.The property is located in Whitefield, an exclusive community in the Hamptons, and spans approximately 2,604 square feet.

The condo has three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, along with two fireplaces and interiors designed to make the most of the property’s natural light.The primary bedroom features pink decor, while a bonus room includes a billiards table with purple felt. The home also has front and outdoor spaces that add to its appeal.

Residents of Whitefield have access to a range of amenities, including a swimming pool, tennis courts and pickleball courts.Adam Hofer of Douglas Elliman, who co-listed the property with colleague Michael Lorber, highlighted the limited availability of renovated condos and townhouses in the Hamptons.

“There are not a lot of condo and townhouse opportunities in the Hamptons,” Hofer said, according to Mansion Global. He noted that the property is renovated and that there are few renovated units available within Whitefield.
Whitefield remains a sought-after Southampton community

Hofer also pointed out that only one other property in the Whitefield community had changed hands since Haydon purchased her condo.He described Whitefield as one of Southampton’s most sought-after communities, citing its privacy, outdoor spaces and location within the village.The community’s shared grounds are also known for being well maintained, adding to the property’s appeal for buyers looking for a private Hamptons residence.
Haydon previously listed $8.39 million Fifth Avenue home
The Southampton property is not the first luxury residence Haydon has put on the market.In 2020, she listed her condo on Fifth Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side for $8.39 million. Haydon had purchased the property from Elizabeth Ailes, widow of late Fox News executive Roger Ailes, for $6.4 million in 2018.The purchase reportedly took place in the same year that her daughter Vanessa filed for divorce from Donald Trump Jr.The Fifth Avenue property ultimately sold for $5.85 million in 2022, according to PropertyShark records.Haydon, a former model who went on to run the modeling agency Kay Models, has also reportedly benefited from an investment in Rao’s Specialty Foods, the company known for its Italian pasta sauce. The New York Post previously reported that she received a substantial payout following the company’s sale.
Vanessa Trump and Donald Trump Jr. share five children
Vanessa Trump and Donald Trump Jr. married in 2005 at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. The former couple have five children together.Vanessa has not remarried, while Donald Trump Jr. married model and philanthropist Bettina Anderson in May 2026.Their wedding, which included celebrations in the Bahamas, attracted significant attention after President Donald Trump did not attend. The president said he was too busy running the country to attend the wedding of his eldest son.
