BILASPUR: An Alliance Air flight from Delhi to Bilaspur suffered a tyre burst while landing at the airport here on Friday morning, but all 41 people on board were safely evacuated, officials said.Flight 9I613 was carrying 37 passengers and four crew members when the incident took place at around 11am, an official said.The flight’s left-side tyre suffered a puncture during landing, he said, news agency PTI reported.Following the incident, all passengers and crew members were safely evacuated from the runway and taken to the terminal building, the official said.The airline subsequently cancelled the flight scheduled to operate onward from Bilaspur, he said.Further details about the incident are awaited.(With agency inputs)
