A small plane crash happened into shallow waters next to a remote coastal town in Alaska on Wednesday, killing four people on board.As per the statement from the Alaska department of public safety, The Piper PA-24 was heading for the airport in the small coastal of Seldovia after taking off from Anchorage.The plane was submerged in about 15 feet (4.6 meters) of water in Seldovia slough near the shore after it crashed as stated by Clint Johnson, the National Transportation Safety Board’s Alaska region chief, as quoted by AP. Troopers had to wait until the tide went out in order to reach it.According to the department of public safety, the dead bodies of four people are being sent to the medical examiner’s office and the names of these people will not be released.What could have caused the crash was not immediately apparent.The NTSB is looking into it.The second plane crashed in less than a weekLast week, another charter plane crashed in Alsaska killing eight people.
