Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer 2’ song ‘Ala Bolelo’ out: Anirudh’s peppy number featuring Shamna Kasim gets fans grooving |
Rajinikanth will next be seen in the much awaited sequel ‘Jailer 2’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Ahead of its theatrical release on October 15, the makers released the film’s first single, ‘Ala Bolelo’ which is an upbeat peppy dance number composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

The 4 minute lyrical video features Rajinikanth in the lively number that is made for fans to enjoy. It also has Tamil and Malayalam musical elements. Actress Shamna Kasim, also known as Purnaa, features in the song.‘Ala Bolelo’ has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The music director has also sung the song himself. The lyrics have been written by director and lyricist Arunraja Kamaraj.Jani Master has choreographed the dance.The makers shared the lyrical video on social media. They wrote, “Ala bolelo, Jilla bolelo, Jithala bolelo, Jinthakka bolelo! #AlaBolelo fever begins, Lyric Video is out now! #Jailer2.”Actress Shamna Kasim also shared her happiness about being part of Jailer 2. She wrote, “I am truly overwhelmed with happiness and gratitude to be a part of the prestigious film Jailer 2!”The makers also shared the Telugu and Hindi versions of the song.She also thanked Rajinikanth, Nelson, Anirudh, Jani Master and the entire team for the opportunity.

The makers earlier released a release date teaser featuring Vinayakan. In the teaser, his character issued a warning to Rajinikanth’s Muthuvel Pandian. He said, “You can’t be at peace after killing me. There’s a big world behind me, Jailer! This is a huge network. You won’t know who is coming (for you), when and how. Your life will turn into hell.”The teaser then showed Rajinikanth making a stylish entry along with glimpses of other characters.
