The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to move back to the UK this month, 6 years after they stepped away from their royal duties. PEOPLE has reported that the couple is planning to move this month, and their children, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie, will start school there in September.By 2020, the couple had been living in Frogmore Cottage, the house that the late Queen Elizabeth II had gifted them as a wedding gift. In 2023, after the Prince published his tell-all memoir, ‘Spare,’ King Charles asked them to relinquish their lease on the royal property. However, according to recent reports, the couple intends to set up a private and non-royal property in Britain. The location for their home has not been shared with the public.The outlet quoted that King Charles was informed of the Duke and Duchess’ decision to move back to the UK on August 16 and has been welcoming about the situation. The news comes amid ongoing reports about Prince Harry wanting to establish ties with the royal family again and make amends over past actions.It has also been revealed in the reports that the Duke and Duchess will not be considered working members of the royal family. They will continue to have their status as private individuals. While Prince Harry will be more actively involved in charity work and Invictus events with this shift, Markle is planning to continue managing her lifestyle brand and other work projects from the UK only.
