The actor will reportedly portray Shukracharya in the upcoming movie from the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe.The character is considered a prominent figure in Indian mythology. Shukracharya is traditionally described as the guru of the Asuras.
‘Mahakali’ makers announce August 24 reveal
The team behind ‘Mahakali’ has now revealed the date of its first major glimpse. RKD Studios shared a cryptic post on social media, which read, “24th August – The End Begins”.Akshaye Khanna is known for choosing roles that allow him to explore different characters. The actor’s previously unveiled look as Shukracharya had already generated interest.

‘Mahakali’ is the next major project connected to the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe. The filmmaker established the universe with ‘Hanu-Man’, which gained attention for its Indian superhero concept and mythology-inspired storytelling.
