Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is reportedly buying a six-bedroom Condo in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the Condo is located at the soon-to-open Aman residence-and-hotel complex. It costs $12,000-per-square foot and is said to be “the most expensive condo ever sold in L.A”.

If the reported purchase goes through, it would not only become the most expensive condo ever sold in Los Angeles, but also one of the costliest residential property deals in the city’s history. The reported asking price of $200 million is about five times higher than the previous record for a Los Angeles condominium sale, making the deal unusual even by billionaire standards.According to the report, the Aman Beverly Hills project is still under construction and is expected to open in 2028. Located near Rodeo Drive, the development will combine luxury residences with a five-star Aman hotel, offering homeowners access to hotel-style services and amenities.
What Jeff Bezos reportedly gets for the price
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the reported six-bedroom penthouse spans about 17,000 square feet and is one of just two mirror-image residences on the top floor of the building. The residence is expected to feature 22-foot ceilings, a private cinema, a gym, multiple kitchens, yoga decks, and a rooftop with a 65-foot swimming pool and Jacuzzi.Owners will also have access to the adjoining Aman hotel, including its spa, restaurants, luxury retail stores and a 10-acre botanical garden.Aman declines to confirm buyer’s identityThe Aman residence-and-hotel complex did not confirm whether Bezos is the buyer, the report says. It quotes a company spokesperson as saying, “For privacy reasons, Aman does not disclose the identities of buyers of Aman Residences.”However, the publication also cited a source with direct knowledge of Bezos’ real estate dealings who said the Amazon founder had not made such a purchase, leaving the reported deal unconfirmed.
