While there are rumors about Anamaria Goltes demanding a whopping $50 million in child custody from the star player, reports resurface about how much pain the star player felt.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"2\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>Luka Doncic faced an emotional setback just months before the custody battle began with Anamaria Goltes<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>Back in December, as Luka Doncic took some time from the Los Angeles Lakers to fly to Slovenia to be there by his ex fiancee\u2019s side as she gave birth to their second child, as per TMZ Sports, he was \u201cdevastated\u201d.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"5\"\/>The reason being that Luka Doncic\u2019s ex fiancee, Anamaria Goltes, did not allegedly allow him to bring back his oldest daughter, Gabriela, with him to California.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"7\"\/>As per ESPN, the situation between Luka Doncic and Anamaria Goltes got so intense that police were called to Kranj Maternity Hospital, per ESPN.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"12\"\/>While neither Luka Doncic nor Anamaria Goltes has opened up about what allegedly happened between them that led to authorities landing up, the star player has spoken about his daughters.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"14\"\/>A few months ago, in an emotional statement to ESPN, the Los Angeles Lakers\u2019 star player said, &#8220;I love my daughters more than anything and I&#8217;ve been doing everything I can for them to be with me in the U.S. during the season, but that hasn&#8217;t been possible, so I recently made the tough decision to end my engagement\u2026&#8221;<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>Luka Doncic added, &#8220;Everything I do is for my daughters&#8217; happiness and I will always fight to be with them and give them the best life I can.&#8221;<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3>What really went wrong between Luka Doncic and Anamaria Goltes?<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>Over the last few months, Luka Doncic\u2019s messy custody battle with his ex fiancee has only gotten worse in the public eye.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"22\"\/>Interestingly, it is not really known what went wrong between Luka Doncic and his ex fiancee.
