Ashutosh Ranka\u2019s academic journey reflects this combination of technical knowledge, public policy learning and student leadership.Before becoming known for his role as a youth activist and strategist associated with the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), Ranka built a strong academic foundation through two globally recognised institutions\u2014Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).His educational path, from engineering at one of India’s premier institutes to public administration at one of the world’s leading social science universities, highlights how diverse academic experiences can shape careers beyond traditional professions.<\/p>\n Ashutosh Ranka completed his schooling at Maheshwari Public School in Jaipur, where he studied from 2001 to 2013.During his school years, he developed an interest in academics along with extracurricular activities, laying the foundation for his future involvement in leadership and public-oriented roles.Like many students aspiring for a career in science and technology, Ranka prepared for engineering entrance examinations and eventually secured admission to one of India’s most prestigious institutions.<\/p>\n Ranka joined the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur in 2013, pursuing a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Materials Science and Engineering.His four years at IIT Kanpur were not limited to academic learning.
