Sharing the update with her fans, she wrote, “Onto the next….”<\/p>\n According to Deadline, the film will be directed by Nimrod Antal of ‘Predators’ fame. The official synopsis reads: “Deep in the Congo, a grieving UN translator is pulled onto a black-ops mission to recover a downed aircraft that isn\u2019t supposed to exist. As a Special Operations team pushes upriver through militia-held territory, the recovery becomes a descent – and the closer they get to the craft, the clearer it becomes that they were never meant to bring it home.“Details about the characters Crowe and Chopra’s characters are still awaited.<\/p>\n The film’s co- producer, Highland Film Group CEO Arianne Fraser praised the casting, saying, “We have a stellar cast led by Russell Crowe and Priyanka who will ignite the screen in this high-stakes, sci-fi thrill ride with layers of depth. Bluefly delivers heart-pounding entertainment with a complex story full of unexpected twists.”Director Nimr\u00f3d Antal also expressed his enthusiasm for the project, saying, “Bluefly is an intense, character-driven thriller wrapped inside a bold science-fiction premise. It’s the kind of film I live to make – grounded, propulsive, and full of dread – and I couldn’t ask for a better cast or team to bring it to the screen.”<\/p>\n The film marks another major Hollywood project for Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who announced a thriller, ‘Reset’, with Orlando Bloom in May.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Priyanka has been in India, completing the final leg of shoots for her time-travel epic ‘Varanasi’, starring Mahesh Babu<\/a> in the lead.
