While the Chiefs quarterback continues working his way back from last season’s ACL and LCL injuries, Brittany was helping mark a significant milestone for the Kansas City Current, the NWSL club the couple co-owns. Mahomes’ simple social media response quickly caught fans’ attention.<\/p>\n Monday marked the official launch of KC Current Studios, a new production and broadcasting facility created to expand the reach of women’s sports through original storytelling and digital content.Located at Current Landing, the studio has been designed as a creative hub featuring podcast, photo, video and broadcast studios, along with a full production control room. The goal is to create original content, live broadcasts, interviews, podcasts and community programming centered around athletes, fans and leaders shaping the future of sports.Kansas City Current co-founders Angie and Chris Long said the project represents another step in the club’s long-term vision.“We are thrilled to open KC Current Studios at such a monumental moment in media. We believe that the stories surrounding women’s sports are every bit as powerful as the competition itself.”They added:“KC Current Studios gives us a permanent home to tell those stories every day where we can feature our athletes, our partners, our fans and the leaders who are changing our city and sports.”The facility is expected to strengthen the club’s growing media presence while giving women’s sports a dedicated platform beyond match days.<\/p>\n While Brittany attended the grand opening with the couple’s three children, Patrick remained with the Chiefs at training camp as he prepares for the upcoming NFL season.Brittany shared photos from the event on Instagram, including a collaborative post with the Kansas City Current. One image showed Brittany alongside Sterling, Bronze and Golden standing behind a KC Current Studios podium fitted with microphones as the children playfully pretended to host a broadcast.The caption simply read: “Mahomes Mic Check.”Although miles away in St. Joseph, Missouri, Patrick made sure to acknowledge the family moment. The Chiefs quarterback reacted in the comments with three blue heart emojis, a small but meaningful gesture that highlighted his support for Brittany’s latest achievement.The opening comes during a busy stretch for the Mahomes family. Patrick is focused on returning to full strength after suffering torn ACL and LCL injuries that ended his previous season, while Brittany continues expanding her role as a businesswoman and co-owner of one of the most ambitious franchises in women’s professional soccer.The Kansas City Current have already earned recognition for opening CPKC Stadium, the world’s first venue built specifically for a women’s professional sports team.
