The event is also expected to be attended by West Bengal chief minister Suvendu Adhikari and noted author Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"6\"\/>This is Nasreen&#8217;s first public appearance in Kolkata since 2007, when widespread protests over her memoir compelled her to leave the city, which had been her home after she fled Bangladesh in the 1990s.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"8\"\/>Her memoir &#8220;Dwikhandito&#8221; (Split in Two) was banned by the then Left Front government in West Bengal in 2003 for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of the Muslim community.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a
