The actor\u2019s injury worsened during the shooting of his latest release, \u2018Peddi\u2019 which is a sports action drama.<!-- --> As per the latest updates, the surgery was successful and the actor is now recovering well.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"4\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>Ram Charan undergoes successful surgery<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, this morning Ram Charan was spotted arriving in Coimbatore for the procedure. According to a report by India Today, the \u2018RRR\u2019 star was accompanied by his father Chiranjeevi, mother Surekha and wife Upasana Konidela. The family stayed with him throughout his treatment and recovery.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"7\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>Expert doctors perform Ram Charan\u2019s wrist surgery<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>The report further suggests that Dr. S. Rajasekaran, Chairman of Ganga Hospital led the surgery. <!-- -->As the injury was complex, internationally known hand and wrist specialist Dr Alejandro Badia from Miami also joined the medical team.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>The operation was performed by Dr S. Rajasekaran, Dr Alejandro Badia, Dr Praveen Bharadwaj and their team of specialists. The doctors confirmed that the procedure went smoothly and that Ram Charan is recovering well after the surgery.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>According to the hospital&#8217;s statement, Ram Charan has been advised to take complete rest and follow a structured rehabilitation programme before returning to work.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/> <span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"22\"\/>The doctors have recommended that he stay away from professional commitments for a few weeks. He will resume shooting only after receiving medical clearance.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"24\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>About \u2018RC17\u2019<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Ram Charan will be next working with \u2018Pushpa\u2019 fame director Sukumar on the tentatively titled film, \u2018RC17\u2019. The film marks Ram Charan\u2019s second project with Sukumar after they worked in the 2019 film \u2018Rangasthalam\u2019 which turned out to be a massive hit.
