Dimon also spoke about another turning point in his career \u2014 being fired as president of Citigroup in 1998. He said he was called into a meeting with Sandy Weill and John Reed and was asked to resign because of organisational changes. The decision came as a surprise and left him confused.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/>After returning home, he told his family the news.
