Several people were shot in Washington’s Seattle on Sunday, prompting a massive response from police and emergency services. The Seattle Police department said there were “multiple” victims and urged people to avoid the area.A witness told local media, “I heard bang, bang, bang, and then people started screaming.”A Seattle Police department spokesperson said he was on his way to the scene and could not provide more details.Kayla Carris, 22, who was sitting outside the Armory during the Bite of Seattle festival, said panic spread quickly after the shooting.“People suddenly started screaming and running inside the Seattle Center Armory building,” she said. “Everyone was dropping their things and running.
