in Delhi, the biggest hurdle isn&#8217;t finding a house\u2014it&#8217;s finding one that fits the budget.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"1\"\/>If you&#8217;ve been waiting for a government-backed housing scheme with lower prices and ready-to-move homes, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced a fresh opportunity.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"4\"\/>Ahead of Independence Day, the DDA has launched the &#8216;DDA Karmajeevi Awaas Yojana 2026&#8217;, offering a 25% discount on more than 1,200 ready-to-move flats in Narela.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"6\"\/>The scheme is aimed at serving and retired government employees, as well as working professionals, and will allot homes on a first come, first served basis, as per news agency PTI.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"8\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2><b>What is the DDA Karmajeevi Awaas Yojana?<\/b><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/>The DDA said the new housing scheme has been launched to make home ownership more affordable while promoting planned urban development and inclusive growth in the national capital.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"14\"\/>The scheme includes over 1,200 ready-to-move flats across three categories:<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>All flats will be offered on a freehold basis, giving buyers complete ownership rights over the property.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2><b>Flat prices after 25% discount<\/b><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/>The DDA has announced the following starting prices after applying the 25% discount:<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"23\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"cdatainfo   id-r-component \" data-pos=\"24\">\n<ul>\n<li>1 BHK: From Rs 33.40 lakh<\/li>\n<li>2 BHK: From Rs 75.55 lakh<\/li>\n<li>3 BHK: From Rs 1.065 crore<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>The discounted pricing is expected to make the homes more accessible to eligible buyers, particularly first-time homebuyers looking for ready-to-move properties.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"27\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2><b>Registration and booking dates<\/b><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"29\"\/>Those interested in purchasing a flat should keep these dates in mind:<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"31\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"cdatainfo   id-r-component \" data-pos=\"32\">\n<ul>\n<li>Registration opens: July 24<\/li>\n<li>Flat booking starts: August 15<\/li>\n<li>Mode of booking: Through the DDA Awaas Portal<\/li>\n<li>Allotment: First come, first served<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>Since allotments will not be through a lottery, prospective buyers may benefit from completing registration early and keeping the required documents and finances ready before bookings begin.<span class=\"id-r-component
