Falling behind on housing installments can quickly become expensive when penalties keep piling up. To help beneficiaries break that cycle, the Gujarat government launched the 100% Penalty Mafi Yojana, offering a complete waiver of late-payment penalties.Introduced by the state\u2019s urban development and urban housing department, the scheme is aimed at beneficiaries of the Gujarat Housing Board (GHB) and the Slum Clearance Cell who have unpaid housing installments on their allotted properties.The idea is simple: if mounting penalties have stopped you from clearing your dues, you can now pay only the outstanding installment amount and get the entire penalty waived.Beneficiaries who clear all pending arrears in a single lump-sum payment by 31 March will be eligible for a 100% waiver of the penalty component. The scheme also enables eligible applicants to move closer to securing the transfer of ownership of their property. Applications can be submitted online.<\/p>\n
