Thursday said, \u201cI have not come here for regime change\u201d, while participating in a protest against CEC Gyanesh Kumar, demanding his immediate resignation over alleged irregularities in the SIR, news agency PTI reported.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"2\"\/>Rathee joined CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and actor-activist <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/prakash-raj\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prakash Raj<\/a> at Freedom Park, where they took part in a protest organised under the banner of \u2018Janata Nyayalaya\u2019 against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"6\"\/>The protesters demanded the immediate resignation of Kumar over alleged irregularities in the SIR exercise.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"8\"\/>Addressing the gathering in Bengaluru, Rathee said, \u201cI have not come here for regime change.\u201d <!-- -->He also alleged that there was \u201czero transparency and zero accountability from the EC\u201d over the SIR exercise.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>Dipke said protesters would continue their agitation until Kumar stepped down. \u201cWe will hit streets, reclaim democracy, continue agitation till CEC resigns,\u201d Dipke said.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/>Actor Prakash Raj further demanded that the SIR exercise be scrapped, alleging that it was not merely about deletion of votes but also concerned the dignity and rights of citizens.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"18\"\/>He also alleged that CEC Gyanesh Kumar was \u201cacting at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah\u201d.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"20\"\/>A large number of women, students and other members of civil society gathered at Freedom Park, with protesters raising slogans demanding that the SIR exercise be scrapped and Kumar resign.<\/p>\n<div data-type=\"in_view\" class=\"
