Firstly, she explains, a persistent negative energy supply shock driven by the war in the Gulf and crude oil above $100 a barrel, while tight refining capacity has driven retail diesel prices to all-time highs.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"14\"\/>The second reason is a massive, capital-intensive infrastructure surge centered on data centers and advanced computing. The collision of these two forces is creating sharp disparities around the world.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"18\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>\u2018Inflation due to data centre expansion\u2019<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>Citing Georgieva, a report in CNBC says that the scale of data center construction is also fueling inflation anxieties across the US, Europe and Asia.
