Please forgive me.&#8221;<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"4\"\/>The incident came to light when the family&#8217;s domestic help arrived at the house, but found the door locked from inside.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"6\"\/>After receiving no response, she informed the family and the Govind Nagar police.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"8\"\/>Police broke open the door and found <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/anand-kumar\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anand Kumar<\/a>&#8216;s body hanging from a ceiling fan.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/>At the time of the incident, Anand&#8217;s father and grandfather had gone to Bihar to finalise the marriage of his elder brother.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/>Rajkumar, a native of Buxar in Bihar and a retired employee of Lohiya Private Limited, has two sons and a daughter.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/>While Rajkumar and Anand lived in a rented house in Gujaini, his siblings are govt school teachers in Bihar.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/>Rajkumar told police that he had left for Bihar five days back. Anand was also supposed to accompany him, but backed out at the last moment.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"24\"\/>Anand completed his BTech in electrical engineering in 2024 from a reputed engineering college in Kanpur.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"26\"\/>After securing the third rank in the state, he was awarded a gold medal by Governor <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/anandiben-patel\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anandiben Patel<\/a> during a function at the college on Aug 13, 2024.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"30\"\/>After completing his degree, Anand began preparing for competitive examinations to secure a govt job while also taking up employment in the private sector.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"33\"\/>Police said he remained under stress as he was unable to clear the examinations despite repeated attempts.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"36\"\/>Govind Nagar SHO Ashok Kumar Dubey said police recovered a five-line suicide note from the room.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"38\"\/>&#8220;The word &#8216;sorry&#8217; was written seven to eight times in the note.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"40\"\/>Prima facie, police believe Anand died by suicide due to depression caused by repeated failures in securing the govt job.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"42\"\/>The body has been sent for postmortem examination, and further investigation is underway.<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a
