<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\nJayden Daniels<\/a>, the Washington Commander\u2019s star quarterback, has had a few tough months as he has been dealing with his dislocated elbow. After first sustaining the brutal injury in the last season, Jayden Daniels has only ended up aggravating the dislocated elbow in Week 2. Ahead of the Week 4 clash, all eyes remain on when Jayden Daniels can recover as he has opened up about it.<\/p>\n A few hours ago, in an interview with ESPN, Jayden Daniels reflected on his injured elbow as he said, “That’s what the brace is for\u2026If I had that concern, I would have gotten surgery.”When asked if he is ready to get back to the field on Sunday, Jayden Daniels said, “What do you think? I’m not surprised. Everything I went through, everybody said I would be good to go if I’m able to be out there Sunday. But I’m taking it day by day.”The popular quarterback added, “I love playing football, I get paid to play football,” Daniels said. “Everybody is hurting. I just feel for me being a leader, go out there and give it my shot to go out and play and obviously protect myself. I just love football and have a passion for it.”Jayden Daniels continued, “Obviously you have those conversations with people I need to have those conversations with. If the surgery was needed to be ASAP, then I’ve got to do what’s best for me. We had those conversations. I was blessed enough to go back out there on the practice field … I’m not really concerned at this moment.”<\/p>\n For the unversed, during the 2025 season, Jayden Daniels dealt with a very similar string of injuries that severely limited him. The popular quarterback first dislocated that same left elbow in Week 9, forcing him to miss a month on the field.Later, though Jayden Daniels attempted to return in Week 14 wearing a supportive brace he ended up injuring himself again which ended his season with the Washington Commanders.While there have been many expectations from Jayden Daniels in the new season, in the Week 2 loss against the Dallas Cowboys, the quarterback sustained a dislocated left elbow after bracing his fall, though X-rays showed no structural fractures.He is currently managing the injury with a specialized brace and rehabilitation, leaving his status for Week 4 questionable and day by day.Despite the pain, Jayden Daniels traveled with the team to London and was a limited participant in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday.
