No details of the US response were publicised.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"6\"\/>Mohajerani said the US failed to isolate Iran politically, stating that numerous meetings were held with European, Arab and other countries.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/>\u201cDespite the enemy\u2019s attempts to isolate Iran politically, the Iranian delegation\u2019s presence in New York was a major focus of attention\u201d, Mohajerani said, adding that diplomatic efforts were \u201cbeing pursued diligently\u201d to find solutions to the crisis.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"12\"\/>Last week, US President Donald Trump had rejected the peace proposal and told aides he could resume bombing Iran after the November midterms.
