The Malaysian held a narrow 4\u20133 advantage in the early exchanges, but the Indian stayed close and continued to find ways to challenge his opponent.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/>Abhay produced one of the standout moments of the opening game with a clever change of angle at the last moment. With Ng anticipating the shot to go in another direction, Abhay\u2019s adjustment caught the Malaysian off guard and kept the Indian within reach at 8\u20137.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"24\"\/>Ng, however, managed the closing stages better to take the first game 11\u20139. Abhay faced the challenge of winning three consecutive games to overturn the deficit, but the Malaysian continued to dictate the rallies and limit the Indian\u2019s opportunities.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"32\"\/>Abhay made a bright start to the third game, moving 4\u20132 ahead and briefly suggesting a possible fightback. Ng responded quickly, though, and gradually reclaimed the lead.
