The bureau said it is working with third-party providers supporting the portal and has not yet determined where the breach originated.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"7\"\/>The FBI said the investigation is focused on determining whether the alleged intrusion occurred within its own enterprise systems or through a third-party provider connected to FBIJobs.gov. The bureau has not publicly confirmed the full extent of the data allegedly accessed.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/>According to Reuters, ShinyHunters claimed it had obtained data belonging to FBI employees and applicants, while media reports examining samples supplied by the group found information that appeared to correspond to real personnel.
