Kyiv Regional State Administration head Tymur Tkachenko said the first strike took place at around 3 am, while another attack hit the facility later in the day.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"12\"\/>&#8220;Today, the Russians twice attacked a civilian warehouse used by the logistics partner of the U.S. McDonald&#8217;s chain. It is a food warehouse with refrigerated storage facilities in Brovary district. The first strike occurred at around 03:00, and the second came during the day,&#8221; Tkachenko said.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"14\"\/>Fire destroys food storage facility<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>A fire broke out after the second strike, with the section of the facility used to store food products completely destroyed by the blaze, according to the Kyiv Regional State Administration.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/>Tkachenko said there was no military facility at the site and described the warehouse as a civilian food storage facility.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/>&#8220;There was no military facility here whatsoever\u2014the warehouse stored food products. Everything looks like a deliberate strike against a facility associated with an American company. Today, we can see especially clearly that the Russians are deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure, Ukrainian and international businesses\u2014everything that supports people&#8217;s normal daily lives,&#8221; Tkachenko emphasized.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"24\"\/>The supplied reports did not say whether anyone was killed or injured specifically at the McDonald&#8217;s-linked warehouse.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"26\"\/>Zelensky said attacks on businesses, communications infrastructure and civilian facilities were intended to disrupt ordinary life in Ukraine.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"28\"\/>\u201cAmerican and other businesses, data centers, internet providers \u2013 all ordinary life is simply a target for Russia,\u201d Zelensky said.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"30\"\/>\u201cIt is important that the world responds to all of this and that Russia feels the consequences of its terror,\u201d he said.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"33\"\/>The deadliest incident reported in Kyiv occurred in the Solomianskyi district, where Zelensky said a Russian drone struck an office building, killing four people and injuring seven others, including a child.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"35\"\/>Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said cars caught fire in a parking area near the building and emergency crews later extinguished the blaze.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"37\"\/>A medical facility in the same district was also damaged. Three people who were near the facility, including a child, were hospitalised.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"40\"\/>Authorities said five people were killed and 27 injured across Kyiv during Friday&#8217;s attacks.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"42\"\/>Among those killed was a 14-year-old boy who died when a Russian strike hit a high-rise residential building in Kyiv&#8217;s Pecherskyi district earlier in the morning.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"45\"\/>Zelensky said Russia was expanding its attacks to businesses, data centres and other infrastructure supporting civilian life.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"47\"\/>The Ukrainian president called for Ukraine&#8217;s long-range strike capabilities and international sanctions to work together to impose \u201cconcrete consequences\u201d on Moscow.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"50\"\/>He said attacks on businesses and civilian facilities were affecting Ukrainians&#8217; ability to work, study and remain connected.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"52\"\/>The warehouse strike also drew attention because the facility was associated with an American company operating in Ukraine.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"54\"\/>Ukrainian authorities said emergency and rescue services responded to the site following the attacks
