The other members are: Joint commissioner (west zone) N Disha Mittal, Superintendent of Police Mutharasi, who is spokesperson and media relations, and deputy commissioner of the Central Women and Children (CWC) unit Geethanjali.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"5\"\/>The team was formed as the investigation into the case expanded following the arrest of Veeramani and his associates. <!-- -->Police have been examining evidence and statements collected during the investigation, including digital material linked to the case.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/>Veeramani was arrested along with Shanthi and Mahendra Simhan in Aug 29 in connection with a child rape case. A former employee of Gem Granites, Ganesan, was subsequently arrested after police found a video linked to the case on his mobile phone on Sep 22.
