When they failed, they allegedly smashed the window, and the broken glass hit Gautam\u2019s face. He told police he suspected the men had come to rob him and were carrying illegal weapons.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"8\"\/>Gautam said he managed to drive away and called his friends Ravindra Kataria and Sandeep Dahiya. The three then went to New Colony police station to lodge a complaint. Gautam told police that a dashcam in his car had recorded the incident.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/>Police said an emergency response vehicle received information about the incident near Aryan Hospital in Sector 7. A team reached the spot and found Gautam, Ravindra and Sandeep there, but the Scorpio had left.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>Police later found the SUV parked near Sai Temple at New Colony turn. Gautam told police its occupants had entered a hotel opposite the spot. A police team went to the hotel and found three men \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/ajay\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ajay<\/a>, Mohit and Piyush Bhardwaj \u2014 in room 105. Police said the three had consumed alcohol and took them into custody.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"18\"\/>A fourth man, identified as Shivam, was apprehended while allegedly fighting with Gautam and his friends near the police station.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/>Police said that after getting out of the police vehicle, Mohit joined Shivam and allegedly attacked Gautam, Ravindra and Sandeep near the station gate. Police personnel intervened and all four accused were taken for medical examination at Sector 10 govt hospital.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"23\"\/>Ravindra and Sandeep were also medically examined. Their reports recorded five and two injuries, respectively.
