The day you dare to insult any faculty member of the Nirma University campus, you are gone forever.&#8221;<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>The video purportedly shows the incident during a stand-up comedy show featuring comedian Rajat Sood.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3><keyword id=\"39547849\" type=\"Denny\" weightage=\"20\" keywordseo=\"NSUI-demands-apology\" source=\"keywords\">NSUI demands apology<\/keyword>, inquiry<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>The Congress-affiliated National Students&#8217; Union of India (NSUI) has demanded an apology from the professor and an inquiry into the incident.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/>NSUI state vice president Vedant Tomar said, \u201cThe professor must apologise to the student and the university should conduct an impartial inquiry into the incident.\u201d<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/>Bhavik Solanki, national coordinator of the NSUI, claimed in a statement that the student was subjected to inappropriate behaviour and also demanded an apology from the professor and an inquiry.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"24\"\/>The NSUI said it would hold a protest if its demands were not met.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"27\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3>University yet to respond<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>The private university did not respond to an email seeking its comment on the incident.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"30\"\/>The circumstances leading to the confrontation, including the student&#8217;s alleged remark and the professor&#8217;s response, could not be independently verified.<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/city\/ahmedabad\/jaldi-kar-panvel-nikalna-hai-how-rajat-soods-comedy-show-turned-ugly-at-ahmedabads-nirma-university-professor-grabs-student-by-collar-on-camera\/articleshow\/134472796.cms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Image Credit: X ( A professor called a student sitting in the audience on stage and grabbed him by the collar) AHMEDABAD: A student&#8217;s alleged remark, &#8220;Jaldi kar, Panvel nikalna hai,&#8221;
