Most sales were executed in the EWS category.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"14\"\/>\u201cThe EWS category in Narela witnessed an almost complete sell-out, underscoring the demand for affordable housing in the area,\u201d the executive further added.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3><b>Sales across categories <\/b><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\"\/><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/>The strong response was witnessed across all housing segments. DDA sold 336 economically weaker sections (EWS), 322 LIG, 435 MIG and 191 high-income group flats. The MIG units accounted for the highest share at 34%.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"23\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3><b>Schemes and infrastructural development<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\"\/><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"26\"\/>The official release attributed the growth to DDA&#8217;s multiple housing schemes introduced simultaneously to cater to the housing needs of different sections of society.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"28\"\/>DDA&#8217;s ongoing housing schemes include DDA Karmayogi Awaas Yojana, DDA Nagrik Awaas Yojana, and DDA Towering Heights, East Delhi Hub, Karkardooma (FCFS), offering housing options across different income groups.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"31\"\/>To make the buying process easier, the benefits under these schemes have been extended until July 31. Buyers can complete the entire booking process online from the comfort of their homes. The flats are freehold and ready to move in, with sample units available for viewing.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"33\"\/>As per the officials, DDA&#8217;s continuous infrastructure development efforts, including key projects such as the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) and the upcoming Rithala-Narela-Kundli Metro corridor, also played a key role in the record sales. <span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"36\"\/>\u201cTo attract buyers, the schemes have been driven by a series of institutional and people-centric reforms.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"38\"\/>We introduced multiple schemes simultaneously to cater to the housing needs of different sections of society, expanded access to affordable housing finance through multiple lending options, strengthened public support through dedicated helpdesks and digital platforms, including a WhatsApp chatbot, and intensified awareness and outreach initiatives,\u201d the executive added.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"42\"\/>DDA has worked in close coordination with other agencies to improve safety and commuting facilities in areas such as Narela, he added.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"44\"\/>The quarterly performance builds upon DDA&#8217;s record housing sales during FY 2025-26, with a total of 11,764 flats sold across various housing schemes.<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/real-estate\/news\/affordable-housing-demand-drives-dda-to-record-rs-1020-crore-q1-fy27-sales\/articleshow\/132459279.cms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) generated a record Rs 1,020 crore in revenue during the first quarter of FY 2026-27, compared to revenue of Rs 462 crore last year in the same period, as reported by news agency PTI.
