NEW DELHI: The ministry of external affairs (MEA) on Wednesday summoned Pakistan\u2019s top diplomat in New Delhi and lodged a strong protest over the \u201cunacceptable and unprofessional conduct\u201d of a Pakistani naval ship..The incident took place on the evening of September 15, when a Pakistan Naval Ship came close to a frontline Indian Navy<\/a> warship on a routine surveillance mission in the North Arabian Sea. The Pakistani vessel was travelling at high speed and manoeuvring in \u201cunprofessional and unsafe manner,\u201d sources said.No damage was reported in the incident.The MEA said the Pakistani vessel\u2019s conduct was in direct contravention of Article 10 of the Agreement between India and Pakistan on Advance Notice on Military Exercises, Manoeuvres and Troops Movements of April 1991.\u201cWhile the incident, which took place in international waters, did not cause any major damage, the conduct of the Pakistani naval ship was in direct contravention of Article 10 of the Agreement between India and Pakistan on Advance Notice on Military Exercises, Manoeuvres and Troops Movements of April 1991,\u201d the MEA said in a statement.<\/p>\n
