Indian non-vegetarian food is delicious. As are my sister&#8217;s chole bhature.&#8221;<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"4\"\/><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"6\"\/>Rahul&#8217;s remarks came a day after an elaborate vegetarian spread was served at a gala dinner hosted during the Brics Summit. The menu featured dishes representing different regional cuisines from across India.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"8\"\/>Without naming any specific leader, Rijiju criticised the Congress over the remarks, saying the party was making an issue out of the food served to leaders of BRICS nations.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"12\"\/>\u201cI can&#8217;t believe that Congress party is making politics even on the food menu served to the leaders of BRICS nations. dinner?<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>The dinner began with starters including \u2018Khandvi mille\u2019, a steamed gram-flour roll tempered with mustard, coconut and curry leaves, and \u2018Khumb galouti\u2019, pan-grilled mushroom kebabs served with mint pearls.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/>The main course featured \u2018Paneer Lababdar\u2019, \u2018Gucchi Marmik\u2019, made with Himalayan morel mushrooms and tender asparagus, and \u2018Carrot Bean Poriyal\u2019.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"23\"\/>The spread also included \u2018Thakkali Belle Saaru\u2019, a light lentil broth, millet pulao, beetroot raita and an assortment of Indian breads.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"25\"\/>For dessert, VVIP guests were served \u2018Old Delhi fruit cream with jalebi\u2019 and \u2018Shahtoot phirni\u2019.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"27\"\/>The gala dinner was also accompanied by a performance featuring an ensemble of
