DSP Puran Kumar handling the probe.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"12\"\/>The CBI has so far declined to comment on the development.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/>Earlier, the CBI wrote to the Malwani police seeking all case documents related to Disha Salian\u2019s death.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/>Last week, the Bombay High Court directed the registration of an FIR in the case and ordered a fresh CBI probe, asking for appointment of a senior CBI officer to oversee it.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/>Salian was found dead at a Malad housing society on June 8, 2020. <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/mumbai-police\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mumbai police<\/a>\u2019s probe had concluded that she died by suicide and there was no foul play.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"25\"\/>Alleging \u201csuspicious circumstances\u201d, Salian\u2019s father filed a petition before HC, asking for her death to be probed as a murder case.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"27\"\/>While delivering its judgment asking the CBI to investigate it, HC had directed that nobody was to be named as an accused in the FIR.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/city\/mumbai\/disha-salians-father-accused-aaditya-thackeray-and-actor-dino-morea-of-her-death\/articleshow\/134076242.cms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier BJP leader Narayan Rane made the similar allegation.
