He was shifted to a private hospital and recovered in about two weeks.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"8\"\/>During the reconstruction, police said Imran collapsed to the floor and continued sobbing. \u201cWe did not stop him or try to pacify him. We knew that he had to pour out his feelings. He wept, cried, and lamented for around 15\u201320 minutes, and we just watched him,\u201d said a senior police officer handling the investigation.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/>During interrogation, Imran admitted to the double murder and told investigators that he had been overcome by fears about his daughters\u2019 upbringing following the breakdown of his marriage.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>According to police, Imran said his marriage began deteriorating around 15 months ago after his wife got a new job. He alleged that he discovered WhatsApp conversations between her and a male colleague, leading to frequent domestic disputes and eventually their separation two months before the killings.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>Under an informal arrangement, the children stayed with their mother on weekdays and visited Imran on weekends.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/>Police also recovered a suicide note from the hotel room in which Imran allegedly wrote about his wife\u2019s alleged infidelity, marital discord and the custody dispute.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/>Police said Imran sometimes experiences mood swings.
