The 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi were organised during his tenure.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/>He was credited with overseeing the execution of several key transport, power and civic infrastructure projects in the national capital.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/>Mehta held several positions in the Delhi government during his career and also served as
