The Nagaon Lok Sabha constituency in Assam will also see a bypoll.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"4\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3>Nandigram among key contests<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>The Nandigram Assembly seat was vacated by West Bengal CM and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari, who had won the constituency in the 2026 Assembly election. He retained the Bhabanipur seat, from where he defeated Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/>The Rejinagar seat fell vacant after its MLA Humayun Kabir resigned from the constituency.
